Description

Tripeptide-29 200mg (Topical Peptide)

This product is intended for research purposes only. To be used by trained professionals only.

An artificial version of a collagen building block is called tripeptide-29. The peptide, which is three amino acids long, resembles the typical Gly-Pro-X/Gly-X-Hyp structure found in collagen subunits.

Tripeptide-29 Oceania essentially functions as a component of bigger collagen molecules. In doing so, it can alter the tertiary and quaternary characteristics of a collagen molecule due to its amino acid sequence and relative frequency with the collagen superstructure. Collagen functions in cell adhesion, tissue control, and healing in addition to being a structural protein. Tripeptide-29 may therefore affect a wide range of physiological characteristics.

Oceania Clinical studies have found that Tripeptide-29 is a partial agonist of the collagen receptor GPVI in its non-polymerized form. The surface of platelets, which resemble cells and are in charge of the initial development of blood clots, expresses GPVI. The GPVI receptor is essential for the collagen-induced stimulation of platelet aggregation in vascular tissue, which is the initial stage of tissue healing and clot formation. Collagen fibres are therefore typically thought to be thrombogenic [1].

Short peptides, such as tripeptide-29, have been shown to play a function in modulating the stability of collagen according to research. Scientists have learned that the final peptide in a tripeptide monomer has the greatest influence on the final structure of collagen. The tripeptide-29 located at position C in an A-B-C monomer has the greatest impact on the ultimate stability of collagen [2]. This discovery may eventually aid in the development of artificial implants for teeth, bone, cartilage, and other tissues.

The function of tripeptide-29 and other tripeptides in shielding skin against the ageing process is gaining attention lately. According to studies conducted on animals, applying topical tripeptides can improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and increase hydration, all of which can reduce the signs of ageing on the skin. Tripeptides have also been shown to improve the texture of skin including skin pigmentation abnormalities. In studies 90% of Oceania research participants displayed enhanced skin hydration as well as higher flexibility as a result of improved elasticity[6].

Topical tripeptide-29 can increase skin turnover and lessen fine wrinkles, crow’s feet, under-eye bags, and hollowing around the eyes when paired with specific hexapeptides.
